When an Adult You Love Has ADHD

Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which has been a transformative experience. Many things that I thought I simply struggled with or just needed to try harder to accomplish now have an explanation. Even better, there are techniques and medications available to help overcome these specific challenges I face.

While I’m not the intended audience for this book, I’m trying to absorb everything to help me figure out how to improve things around me. To that end, this has been an interesting read. There are many examples in the book that depict a severity that I feel like I’m nowhere close to, and it is a bit depressing to realize how challenging things are for some individuals. It’s definitely a good read for loved ones of individuals with severe ADHD, and it provides valuable information for everyone.
